Road traffic injuries

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), road traffic injury is a fatal or non-fatal injury incurred as a result of a collision on a public road involving at least one moving vehicle. Children, pedestrians, cyclists and the elderly are more likely of being involved in a road traffic injury.

Road traffic injuries have become the most serious public health problems in recent years. And it is more likely for young adults to die from a serious road traffic crashes than from a disease.
